Educafe ESOL Provision for 2024-2025

During the 2023-2024 academic year, Educafe successfully delivered six funded ESOL courses, including ESOL Beginners, Job Support Clubs, English for Driving Theory, and English for Business Communication. We proudly enrolled 89 learners who achieved their learning objectives thanks to the diligent efforts of our dedicated team.

Our bespoke courses, developed with substantial investment of both funding and time, were designed to meet the specific needs of our learners. However, we are disappointed to announce that due to funding constraints for the 2024-2025 academic year, Educafe will only be able to offer one course, reducing learning opportunities for potentially 100 learners.

While funding to support a broader range of activities aimed at getting learners closer to employment is important, the significance of English language proficiency cannot be overstated. Without a command of English, non-native speakers face substantial barriers to working in their trained industries, applying for jobs, supporting their families, and assisting their children with homework. Proficiency in English is essential for the resettlement of non-native speakers in the UK and plays a critical role in fostering community cohesion. It enables individuals to integrate more fully into society, participate actively in their communities, and contribute to the social and economic fabric of the UK.
