We’ve just finished the Hong Konger Beginner and Improvers course and I’ve had such a wonderful time teaching them. We have shared so many laughs and stories and have learned so much from each other over the past few months. Mr. W Kyee in particular has regaled us with stories of when he was a sailor in the 60’s, which included battling a tsunami at sea! 

The students have eagerly taken on any extra-curricular tasks I’ve given them, including a pumpkin carving competition for Halloween and a challenge to try haggis and take a picture! It was with great sadness we said goodbye to each other this week, but we’re all hoping that maybe there may be another course in the future.
